Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. First, be sure to wash your hands with soap. Fold the cup using one of the various folding methods available; you can experiment to find the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once inserted, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it has been properly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when inserted correctly. If you feel any dents or creases, it means the cup has not fully opened. Gently grip the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it is in place, try pulling slightly on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
