Before first use, sterilize the cup by boiling it in water for 3-5 minutes. First, make sure to wash your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods—you can try a few and choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it is correctly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you feel any dents or indentations on the cup, it means it hasn't fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, gently pull on the stem—if you feel resistance, the suction is set, and the cup is successfully inserted!
