Before using the cup for the first time, sterilize it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods you can try to see which one suits you best. Insert the folded cup and let it expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup should open with a noticeable suction or popping sound, indicating that it is properly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the base of the cup; it should be round or oval. If you detect any dents or indentations, the cup has not fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it’s in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is correctly positioned!
