Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Start by thoroughly washing your hands with soap. Fold the cup using one of the various folding methods available; you can try different ones to see which works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once in place, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it has been correctly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you detect any dents or folds, the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once the seal is formed, you can gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is in place, and the cup is successfully inserted!
