Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods you can try; choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and let it expand inside the vagina. Once inserted, the cup will pop open with a suction or popping sound, indicating it is correctly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you feel any dents, the cup has not fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a seal. Once in place, gently tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is set, and the cup is successfully inserted!
