Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Be sure to wash your hands with soap first. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods—you can try them all and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it is correctly positioned. If you are unsure, feel the bottom of the cup—it should be round or oval when inserted correctly. If you feel dents, it means the cup has not fully expanded. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it's in place, try pulling slightly on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established and the cup is successfully inserted!
