Before first use, sterilize the cup by boiling it in water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are various folding techniques you can try to find the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it is properly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the base of the cup – it should be round or oval when correctly inserted. If you notice any dents or folds in the cup, it means it hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to form a suction seal. Once in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction seal is established and the cup is securely in place!
