Before using the cup for the first time, sterilize it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap first. Fold the cup. There are various folding methods you can try to find the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to open up inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup should open with a noticeable suction or popping sound, indicating it is properly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup – it should be round or oval when correctly inserted. If you detect any dents or folds, the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it's in place, gently tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established and the cup is successfully inserted!
