Before first use, sterilize the cup by boiling it in water for 3-5 minutes. First, be sure to wash your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods—you can try various ones to see which suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a noticeable suction or popping sound, indicating it has been placed correctly. If unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when inserted properly. If you notice indentations or dents, it means the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to twist it to create a suction seal. Once secured, try pulling slightly on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established and the cup is successfully in place!
