To begin, you need to prepare the skin on your feet. Soak your feet in warm water in a special foot bath, preferably with a disinfectant, such as hydrogen peroxide. The soaking should last between 10 and 30 minutes. After soaking, use a foot scraper to gently but firmly remove rough skin. Move gradually from the edge of the foot towards the center. Avoid applying too much pressure. Any pain or discomfort is a sign to reduce the pressure. After using the scraper, rinse your feet and place them back in the foot bath. Next, use a coarse file for rough skin, followed by a fine-grit file for a smooth finish. Pat your feet dry with a towel, preferably one that is disinfectant. Finally, apply a special nourishing cream.
