Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods - you can try several and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand in the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it has been correctly positioned. If in doubt, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval when inserted. If you notice dents or indentations on the cup, it means it hasn't fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it's in place, gently pull on the stem. If you feel resistance, the suction is established and the cup is successfully positioned!
