Apply your makeup: if you plan to use eyeshadow, apply it first, then lightly coat your lashes with waterproof mascara. Take the false eyelashes and "fit" them to your eyes. If the strip is longer than needed, trim it with scissors. You can also shorten the length of the lashes. To make the lashes more flexible, warm them up by holding them between your palms or wrapping the strip around your finger. Apply the adhesive. The proper way to apply false lashes is to put the glue directly on the lash strip or bundle, not on your eyelid. It's convenient to use a toothpick or cotton swab for this. Wait 20 seconds after applying the glue for it to thicken slightly. Apply the strip starting from the outer corner of your eye and press for about 20 seconds to let the glue set. Use tweezers to position the strip as close to your natural lash line as possible. Finish by applying eyeliner and another coat of waterproof mascara to blend your natural lashes with the false ones.
