Apply a small amount of cream (about the size of a pea) to cleansed skin, avoiding the eye area. Use once a day, in the evening. Retinol may cause redness and peeling, which indicates that the active ingredients are working. In case of more severe redness, peeling, or itching, it is recommended to reduce the dosage – for example, apply once every other day or every two days. Contraindications: pregnancy, breastfeeding, concurrent use of systemic retinoids or products containing hydroquinone.

My first experience with retinol. I am 29 years old, with thin, combination, dehydrated skin and frequent breakouts. Between Pures and Obagi, I chose Obaji because Pures contains ingredients that can be comedogenic for combination skin. So, the next morning, my breakouts became less noticeable, and with each day, they completely disappeared. I use it every day and there is no itching, peeling, or breakouts.
This is an excellent cream, my skin is porcelain-like the next day! The skin has become noticeably brighter, more even, and there are no breakouts yet (and I have problematic skin). I started using this cream with retinol, and I liked everything about it. The only side effect I experienced with retinol was redness on my neck. As an anti-acne treatment for my face, it works quite well. However, I cannot comment on its effectiveness as an anti-aging product since this is my first time using a low concentration. Unfortunately, I couldn't continue using it on my neck as I didn't experience the promised adaptation from cosmetologists. Therefore, it seems that if a reaction occurs, it is consistent.
