Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Concealer Versatile Long-Lasting Concealer

I am writing this review, maybe it will be helpful to someone. For example, I lacked natural photos with the real color of the concealer to choose the right shade for myself, because there are only two shades and I didn't match with either of them.

I bought it here. I am 46 years old and have dry skin. I really like this concealer. It comes in a large volume of 13ml and provides good coverage. It does not dry out the skin. I apply it with a sponge. At first, like many others, it settled into my wrinkles after 15 minutes, but then I adapted to it. I apply a base (in my case, YSL) and I can go all day without any problems.

My skin has a slightly tan with a yellowish undertone, but shade 04 is too dark for me, and 025 is too light, so I have to mix them. I also noticed that both the concealer and the Lancome foundation oxidize (darken) upon application and blending.

The concealer itself is not bad, the packaging is luxurious. I got the color Lys Rose 02, it suits me, it's light with a slight pink undertone. However, the thing I dislike the most about this concealer is the smell, it smells like super glue. I didn't expect a high-end product to have such a strong smell(((

I didn't buy it here, but I want to share my impressions. The volume is quite large, which is good. I do not recommend using it under the eyes. It covers dark circles well, but after half an hour, it settles into all the creases and doesn't look very good. However, for other areas of the face, it holds up well for oily skin. I bought shade 010 beige porcelain, which is suitable for fair skin with a light tan in the summer.

The concealer oxidizes horribly on the face. The perfect shade 010 in the packaging turns into a yellow-brown spot in half a minute, which looks worse on fair skin than the flaw that the concealer was supposed to hide.

I was afraid to buy it because of the negative reviews, but I really wanted to try it. And probably because of lower expectations, I am satisfied with the product overall. I apply the concealer all over my face. I have very fair skin and shade 006 suits me well. I can't say it matches exactly, but it seems to adapt to the skin and gives it a healthier color. It doesn't feel heavy. The coverage is medium, but you can layer it if there are imperfections and blend it out. It doesn't crease under the eyes, but there is a slight creasing on the nose area. As for the downsides: it shows dry patches and it's inconvenient to get the applicator out (there is a risk of product spraying).

Expectations were not exceeded, unfortunately. The coverage is patchy, there is no moisturization, the scent is plastic-like, and the concealer is on par with mass-market products. Alas.

This is already my second package of concealer. I like it! It doesn't settle into wrinkles (I moisturize the skin under my eyes before applying). Other concealers horribly emphasized flaws. I apply it in 2 thin layers. I slightly missed with the color. But other than that, I am satisfied.

The concealer is not bad, but you can find better options for the price. It is only suitable for covering small imperfections. If you have a large red pimple, it won't fully cover it and it doesn't blend well under the eyes, emphasizing wrinkles that you didn't even know existed and drying out that area. It is only suitable for those who prioritize luxury and don't need to cover major flaws.

I say goodbye to makeup forever! I will never order anything again! I ordered this concealer and was unpleasantly surprised by what I received - the box was already open, no plastic wrap or anything, as if someone had already used it, not properly packaged at all. It's better to order from Brocard. And this is not the first time, you order - you pay a good amount of money, and you receive a market version.

Super concealer, great coverage, doesn't dry out. I took shade 3 for a tan skin tone and it matched perfectly.
