What is the scalp microbiome, and why is it essential to maintain its health? It is a system of beneficial bacteria in the layers of the skin. To strengthen the microbiome and increase the protective properties of the scalp, use the Kerastase Specifique Hair Serum. Apply once a day in the morning or before bed on the scalp for three weeks. Apply three doses to dry or towel-dried scalp, distributing it into strands. One dose = one pipette filled to the mark. I received this serum as a gift in samples. It has a very cool aroma, and I am impressed. It doesn't make my hair greasy, on the contrary, my hair becomes silky and fresh with this serum. I am satisfied with the product, and I will definitely order the full-size version.

I have oily roots, I wash my hair every other day, but after using this serum, they didn't become even oilier, which I was afraid of! Great serum, I have been using this brand for 4 years now. I have problematic scalp skin, this product does not treat seborrhea, don't expect that, but it is part of a healing line and does a great job with itching and redness. This serum works wonders for hair and scalp. It is easy to apply. I generally love all Kerastase products.
However, I was disappointed with its smell. At first, I didn't like the scent. I prefer sweeter smells, but this one is more like men's cologne. However, later I found it interesting, like a unisex fragrance. Some people might find it pleasant. And I'll say more - with this serum, you don't even need perfume. This is actually my problem.
I can feel this heavy scent so strongly throughout the day that it gives me a headache.
Because of this, I didn't have a good experience with this serum.
I don't recommend it to those who don't like unisex smells, heavy fragrances, etc.
The scalp, just like the facial skin, needs moisture and care. Completely satisfied with this product: the texture, the effect, the smell (by the way, even at night I can feel the delicacy of the pleasant aroma).
Funny thing, effective. But the smell is something strange for me. I prefer sweeter scents. And this one is absolutely not sweet - rather a heavy smell. It reminds me of some unisex perfumes. It is similar to men's cologne and women's evening fragrances. If you expect the serum to smell delicious, then no. But the smell is subjective. For example, I don't like the scents of Molecule and Bacarrat. That's why taste and color vary.
Not bad, but you have to understand - this is not medicinal cosmetics, it will not solve your problems! If the condition of your scalp does not have seborrhea, dermatitis, eczema... it will be good for maintaining skin balance and softening, but nothing more. Keep this in mind!
I made myself a birthday present and bought the entire line. But the first review I will write is specifically for the serum.
This product is incredible for me!
I have seborrheic dermatitis. For the past five years, it has worsened due to hormonal problems. So, this product relieves irritation. It's not immediately noticeable, but with regular use. I wash my hair every other day, rarely every two days. So, after each hair wash, I apply this product. It reduces redness, inflammation, and itching. In the heat, I often have flare-ups, but not with this product.
As a result, where the dermatitis subsides, the skin rejuvenates and hair starts to grow.
It also works well with the clay shampoo from the same series.
The fragrance is unisex, like niche perfumes from Hermes. Of course, it's not for everyone. I like it. If the head sweats, the fragrance is noticeable. So, if a person has a problem with the smell of the scalp (and there are those smelly heads, sorry), then this serum will be a huge plus for them.
Definitely an excellent rating. I will continue to buy it.
The serum is great, but the smell is very strong and sharp, it's very hard to get used to. It's really not worth using perfume with it, as the smell will be even stronger and mixed.
I received a 30 ml miniature of this serum for testing. The scent is absolutely amazing, just like the entire Specifique line, and I really like it. It stays on the hair until the next wash. The bottle is made of glass. The serum absorbs quickly and doesn't make the hair greasy. It slightly prolongs the freshness of the hair and actually gives a small amount of volume. As for the major downsides: denatured alcohol is listed as the second ingredient. I highly doubt that people with problematic scalp skin will appreciate this. Also, personally for me, it is inconvenient to use the dropper. It is difficult to draw the necessary amount up to the mark (either more or less is drawn). And the hair falls out while massaging it into the scalp. And you also need to get used to applying it every day. I deducted stars for the alcohol being the second ingredient and the inconvenience of use, personally for me.
The smell is great! I really like it! I've only been using it for a short while, so it's too early to tell about hair growth enhancement. But what I can say for sure is that there's no dandruff this winter. And, by the way, my hair is less static.
I didn't expect to like this serum so much. For my dry and sensitive scalp, it gives the same effect as a very good moisturizing face mask. It provides a feeling of freshness all day long. It eliminates tightness and dryness. Upon application, there is a slight cooling sensation, so it will be especially pleasant to use in the summer. Hair looks more vibrant. More shine and volume. The serum is thick, gel-like, but not sticky or greasy, absorbs well, with an exceptionally pleasant scent. The only thing is that I needed 3 more droplets for my whole head. I had to apply more.
After giving birth my facial and scalp skin was very dry. Plus, I had recently been infected with COVID. It was a combo. There was even a very dry patch that caused discomfort. But this serum decreased the dryness and itchiness.
It is very easy and convenient to apply. The design is bomb. There is no greasy hair effect after it, which is important.

I have been testing the POTENTIALISTE serum almost 3 weeks now every day. I noticed an effect from the first days. After using the serum, the itching of my scalp went away, my skin felt moisturized and I felt more comfortable. It is easy to apply and convenient to use with the pipette, it only takes 2-3 pipettes for my head. It has a pleasant gel texture. The aroma of the serum is amazing and it lasts long on the hair. Magic for sensitive scalp. I use Dermo Calm shampoo for blondes for care, Blond Absolu mask/fondant. But this serum creates miracles with the skin. Especially saved me after coloring, when the skin is still restless for a week and there is a slight itching. And most importantly - it does not weigh down the roots. I was surprised that my hair stayed clean for one more day) The only downside for me is the scent, I don't like it when fragrances are strong and last long! I use an interesting new product for myself, a scalp care remedy called Potentialiste. The serum is applied with a convenient applicator. I have thick hair, and three applications with the dropper are enough for sufficient distribution on the scalp. The product has a pleasant scent, somewhat reminiscent of a natural, medicinal scent, which I really liked. The feeling of the serum upon application is neutral; it has a consistency similar to medium-density gel, not thick or too liquid, and it is easy to apply. After applying, I gently massage it into the scalp with my fingers. The hair does not become greasy, and there is a feeling of comfort for the scalp without any dryness. I recommend trying this additional scalp care.
My scalp gets oily quickly. I was afraid that this product would make it worse and that my hair would look dirty. BUT! My hair stays fresh even longer after using it!

I have dry hair and a dry scalp. I wash them every 5-7 days. And often after washing I feel tightness and even itching. Already a week since I started using this serum and I can't be more pleased. My skin seems to have come to life, and the hair in the nape area has become nourished, denser, more elastic, there is volume and shine. Very pleasant sensations, freshness and no itching. I did not expect that this serum would so quickly solve my problem and eternal discomfort. Separate delight in aromas - it is amazing, reminiscent of the smell of expensive perfume and is also quite persistent (I hear it even at the end of the day).

I have been using the serum for more than a week and in this time I have formed an opinion of the product. To start with, the bottle and pipette inside are made of glass, which is very important. The aroma reminds me of Armani Si, which I personally really like and it stays on the hair until the next hair wash (those who don't like such aromas should keep that in mind). I use it as instructed every day, one application with three pipettes, which is enough for my whole head... The feeling after the serum is very pleasant, it doesn't make the hair greasy and I haven't had to wash my hair more often. I also noticed that I stopped itching my head (which sometimes happened after washing my hair), and my skin became more moisturized. In general, I am very satisfied with the serum and my scalp too!)

The curd is great, after bleaching my hair the scalp was dry and there was a feeling of tightness, but thanks to this curd the tightness disappeared, it doesn't make my hair greasy, and the smell is very pleasant (the smell of expensive perfume). As always, Kerastase delights with its product.

As for the effect, it is immediately noticeable to me, because my scalp is very dry + I have dry dandruff in some places.
