Like tropical heat, a dry yet fiery passion transports you to an endless desert from which there is an escape... Sables 2014 by Annick Goutal is the very perfume that will guide you out of a creative desert 'stagnation' and free you from cold melancholy, bestowing new inspiration, imagination, and an incredibly charismatic aura of allure that no girl can resist!
The opening notes concentrate on wildflowers, enveloped by the delicate and elegant immortelle, allowing you to express yourself through the language of emotions. Following this, fragrant pepper and slightly bitter nutmeg sparkle and lead you into the hidden corners of your sensual soul. The lasting, noble trail combines a vanilla-sandalwood palette, surrounded by woody sandalwood.

The fragrance here deserves the highest rating - five stars. Well, I would give it at least a six.
It's amazing that this marvel still doesn't have a single comment. So, I'll be the first. It's an honor.
It's stunning. Completely mind-blowing. After unpacking, I couldn't stop smelling it for a solid 15 minutes. It was even surprising to return to everyday life, to the mundane. This doesn't mean that Sables smells like heavenly bushes and angel feathers. No, it smells... sort of like everything that's listed in the pyramid (immortelle, spices, cognac, walnuts, etc.), but at the same time completely different, almost magically. Because if you were to open a bottle of good cognac, bags of spices, crack some walnuts, and inhale the dried immortelle, it wouldn't smell anything like Sables. It smells as if it has been contained in a medieval alchemist's flask for centuries, practicing sorcery. Wonderful, delightful. The main thing is that it changes perceptions of perfumery. Because, essentially, it's not really a perfume, but some kind of sacred ritual. And it's amazing: there are people who, due to their lack of understanding in perfumery, will say that it's just stench, that paying such money for stench is absolute madness. And yet, unconsciously, they will spend the whole day (or evening) sniffing around your fragrance, being enchanted by it.
The longevity is extremely high. The sillage is two meters or so. It was created by Madame Gutal for her husband and is advertised as a men's fragrance. But it also sits beautifully on women (those who are knowledgeable in the subject).
Without a doubt, it's a masterpiece. Bravo.
