Hi! I prefer using foam as a cleanser because generally, I believe it to have better cleansing qualities than gels. However, sometimes I think even the foams can be kinda too heavy and make your skin feel dry. Whereas this foam cleanser has a very very light texture. I use it usually after the hydrophilic oil, but even on its own, I think it does its job perfectly. I do recommend using some sort of a toner afterwards though still
