No and again no. The razor is scratching, my skin is covered in cuts. As soon as I switched back to my usual razor, everything went back to normal.
I'm not impressed, to be honest. The design is nice, the price is normal, but I have cuts on delicate parts of my body after shaving. There is no feeling of smooth gliding, so shaving takes more time and attention. I gave away this razor because I know it will "betray" me at the crucial moment - I bought another one from an American manufacturer that suits me.
Very good razor, shaves perfectly, does not cause irritation.
In my opinion, this is currently the top compared to Gillettes, which have become of very poor quality.
Convenient, quality is pleasing.
I have been using Venus Embrace with five blades for about 10 years. Everything was fine except for the price, which was constantly increasing, and the quality was not good either. After a couple of days, the blades would start to feel like they had been used for a month (considering I shave daily with medium stiffness bristles). I urgently needed to replace them.
I noticed these ones and bought them elsewhere because they had a slightly better price in the store. I immediately purchased a set with a razor and two three-blade cartridges, as well as a set with four three-blade cartridges, because Bic cartridges are not compatible with Venus razors.
First of all, these cartridges are narrower, which is better because it allows for easy shaving in hard-to-reach areas. Secondly, the quality is definitely better. I have been using them for half a month now and they still look and feel like new.
I have also bought a set of five-blade cartridges as a backup and for testing purposes. They are twice as expensive as the three-blade cartridges, but I believe they will be even better in terms of quality. Although I am satisfied with the three-blade cartridges as well.
I liked it.
I don't know what's not working for others, but the machine is fine. I bought it as a replacement for Venus, which lately doesn't match the price-quality ratio at all. This one is inexpensive, has 2 blades, and handles its function well, it's convenient. Let's see how long it lasts.
Took a chance on trying this razor as a replacement for Venus (which has been very disappointing lately) and was pleasantly surprised. The quality is quite decent, nice design, and the price is very affordable. The blades are sharp and shave well, let's see how long they last.
