Best mascara out of all that I have tried, wow effect.
Mascara is great, I like it. If you are buying waterproof mascara, you need to use appropriate makeup removers instead of complaining about it as a disadvantage.
Overpriced and nothing special. The mascara, as usual, colors the eyelashes, does not stick or clump. If the lashes are of "average" quality, it will emphasize them nicely. It takes three days to completely remove this mascara, or half a pack of cotton pads and half a bottle of makeup remover, which then causes bags under my eyes. So, what's the point? I had a green Loreal mascara before this one, it was worthy. It applies beautifully, lashes look amazing afterwards, it doesn't smudge, doesn't flake, and it's even cheaper than Lancome. This will be my last Lancome purchase.

My love for makeup and mascara began about 10 years ago, and I prefer this brand. It's difficult to determine which one is my favorite, but this one is definitely worth attention.
Let's start with the visual effect. It separates and definitely lengthens the lashes. I can create a spider-leg effect if I apply multiple coats, but I actually love this effect, so it's not a downside for me. With just one or two coats, it creates a natural yet doll-like look. My personal tip is that if I couldn't blend my eyeshadows properly, applying 3-4 coats of this mascara will hide them completely behind the lashes.
Now, let's talk about its waterproofness. I wouldn't say this mascara is waterproof; it's fire-resistant, earthquake-resistant, and maybe it can withstand more disasters than you. If you're prone to crying in the subway/at work/over tasks, I recommend buying it. Even if you fall asleep with it after a beach tantrum in the wind, you'll wake up with a melted face, but your lashes will still be intact.
From this, the only downside for me is that I don't know how to completely remove it. My current method is to rub hydrophilic oil for about 40 seconds, including using a cotton swab for precise application, then using an oil-based micellar water pad on top, and finally using a foam cleanser. At some point, I decided to use the waterproof version.
Good day! I am thrilled with the Lancome Lash Idole Waterproof Mascara, it's my favorite mascara, I buy it constantly. It is very long-lasting, doesn't wash off, you can swim in the pool without worrying, and it doesn't clump the lashes. It is easy to apply and doesn't require multiple layers. It can only be removed with a two-phase makeup remover, which suits me. I do not recommend using micellar water or water to remove this mascara for those who prefer it.
The best mascara of my life. I had the same one that was not waterproof, so I ordered a waterproof one. Both are great, but the waterproof one doesn't come off with just water like the regular version. It feels weightless on the lashes. The lashes become very long and separated! No Loreal or Maybelline can compare, I have used both for many years, but after this mascara, I don't want any other. I bought it on a Polish makeup website.
Terrible mascara, I do not recommend it.

I see that comments are being commented on here. I don't want to do this. But I'll talk about the mascara. I only use Lancome - so I can say that the waterproof Idol mascara is a first and last for me. I will go back to the Idol with oil. The mascara really shows itself more negatively. It brings certain troubles. And then the fact that it has a good consistency and is applied with a silicone brush, distributing well - no longer plays a role as important.
I have such an unreliable mascara, it was just about to run out and I wanted to try this version. I must say, it wears perfectly, doesn't flake, and doesn't smudge on the lower eyelid throughout the day. It comes off easily with the cheapest hydrophilic oil. I was also lucky to come across a cool discount and buy it for 873 UAH, for which, as always, I'm grateful to Makeup.
I'll probably leave a spoonful of tar. I didn't really like the mascara.
I'll start with the positives. It lengthens, separates, and is waterproof.
As for the negatives, it is extremely waterproof, and can only be removed with a two-phase remover (had to buy separately). It sticks to the lashes very tightly. And even with a two-phase remover, you have to make an effort to remove it. Honestly, this was a minus for me.
I don't know about others, but I have hooded eyelids, so it starts smudging after two to three hours.
When you apply it to your eyes and press it against the lash line, it's difficult to remove without a remover. And by then, the eyes already have eyeshadow. In short, you have to be very careful.
It does not flake much, but it does flake a little.
You can layer it, but then it will definitely flake off. Although I wouldn't say it constantly and intensively flakes off.
Personally, I wouldn't buy it again... but that's just my impression.
I will continue to search for my own mascara.
This is the best mascara I have ever had! It perfectly accentuates my long lashes, it is long-lasting, doesn't smudge on the eyelids, easy to remove, and the brush is very convenient! But most importantly, it doesn't cause any allergies (which is a huge problem for me) and it also has certain care properties. Conclusion: never buy cheap mascara from mass-market! It's better to go for a branded one - it's both quality and taking care of your own health!
