Regular hair mousse. Nowhere on the packaging does it state that it is specifically for root volume. In the evening, after applying the mousse to my hair in the morning, I feel the need to wash my head. The hair feels heavy and does not hold its shape.
Great mousse. Light, non-sticky (doesn't leave any stickiness even on hands after application). It even softens my hair, and after it fully dries, I don't feel the need to apply anything extra to the ends. The scent is a bit bitter-herbal, which is unusual for a styling product, but I liked it. The only thing that is not very clear is why it is positioned as a root-lifting product, because there is not a single word about the root area in the English text on the packaging, it simply says 'apply to damp hair and distribute evenly', as I understand - throughout the length.
