Personally, for me, this is a good chypre, complete and well put together, in the best traditions and therefore, it even sounds slightly vintage. It is definitely not a "freshener". It is cool and floral. I see it as an "icy flower" - voluminous and slightly prickly, in need of space and air. And as for the similarity, I can agree with the previous review about something from Avon. Yes, at first, it is similar to "Prima" (which was also a chypre-floral fragrance).
