The Soft menstrual cup with a stem from the Me Luna brand is the softest product in the entire Me Luna collection. It easily compresses, however, a significant portion of the tension is lost. Inserting and removing this soft product is more challenging than the classic version and requires more skill. This cup is specifically designed for those with weakened pelvic floor muscles. If the pressure is too high, there is a risk that the product will not unfold properly. This soft menstrual cup is suitable if you are particularly sensitive to pressure and pain caused by urinary tract inflammations or other changes in the body. If you usually experience pain and discomfort when inserting tampons, the Soft cup may also be a good choice for you.
Features of the MeLuna Soft Menstrual Cup Stem:
- Size M, maximum diameter – 41 mm;
- Color – pink;
- The capacity is 18 ml, however, it should be noted that the inserted cup will not stand upright, therefore it can hold slightly less liquid;
- Made from medical-grade thermoplastic elastomer;
- The formula is 100% hypoallergenic, as it contains no latex, silicone, fragrances, dyes, flavorings, or other allergenic components;
- Strictly prohibited for use during the postpartum period;
- It is recommended to empty the cup 3-5 times a day as needed and wash it with a small amount of gentle soap;
- For disinfection, the product should be submerged for an additional 3 minutes.-
Before first use, sterilize the cup by boiling it in water for 3-5 minutes. First, make sure to wash your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods - you can try them and choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it is correctly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you feel dents or folds, the cup hasn't fully opened. Carefully grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it's in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
