Wet your hands with water and apply enough soap. Rub one palm against the other. Use your right palm to rub the back of your left hand while interlocking your fingers, then switch hands and repeat. Grip your left thumb with your right palm and rub it in a rotational motion, then switch and do the same for the other thumb. Use a circular back-and-forth motion to rub your left palm with the fingertips of your right hand, then switch hands and repeat. Rinse your hands with water. The entire procedure should take 40–60 seconds.
