Juniper essential oil can be used in its pure form or blended with other essential oils such as cypress, citrus, eucalyptus, cajeput, elemi, sage, and lavender for skincare and haircare. To enrich cosmetic products, add 5 drops of oil (or oil blend) to 10 ml of base (1-2 tablespoons). For a mask to treat broken capillaries, mix 50 ml of yogurt with 5 drops of neroli, 5 drops of juniper, and 2 drops of rosemary. Apply the mask and rinse with lukewarm water after 10-15 minutes. To strengthen hair and combat dandruff, mix 5 drops of tea tree oil and 5 drops of juniper oil with 10 ml of jojoba oil. Apply this mixture to towel-dried hair after washing, and rinse thoroughly with clean water after 5-10 minutes. For massage, blend 5-7 drops of oil (or oil blend) with 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. For anti-cellulite massage oil, mix 100 ml of jojoba oil with 10 drops each of juniper and rosemary, 10 drops of geranium, 10 drops of orange, and 5 drops of cypress. For treating hemorrhoids and slow-healing wounds, apply 5 drops to 10 ml of vegetable oil with a cotton swab. For inhalations and room fragrance, use aromatherapy burners: add 5 drops of oil per 15 square meters to an aroma lamp filled with water, and light a candle. For aroma pendants, use 1-3 drops. For hot inhalations, pour boiling water into a wide-mouthed container, cover your head with a towel, add 1-3 drops of oil, and inhale for 4-7 minutes. Keep your eyes closed! For baths, mix 3-7 drops of oil (or oil blend) with 30-60 g of an emulsifier (such as salt, baking soda, honey, bath foam, cream, bran, etc.) and add to a filled bath. For detox baths, use 3 drops of juniper, 3 drops of geranium, 3 drops of lemon, and 1 drop of sandalwood. For anti-cellulite baths, use 5 drops of lemon, 3 drops of juniper, and 2 drops of cypress. In saunas, add 2-3 drops of oil per 15 square meters to a container with 50-100 ml of water, or dissolve 5 drops of essential oil in 10 ml of ethanol and spray the mixture. For warm compresses, add 5-7 drops to water or oil (300-400 g), and apply a gauze or cloth bandage soaked in the mixture for 10-40 minutes, covering with plastic wrap to keep warm. For lotions and ointments, use 5 drops per 20 ml of base on the affected skin area. For douching, apply 3 drops to 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and dissolve in 200 g of warm boiled water.
It smells like a eucalyptus air freshener for the toilet. There is neither juniper nor a forest coziness.
This oil is very pleasant, like a forest scent. However, it doesn't really resemble what we typically associate with the smell of juniper.
