There is no irritation. I always follow up with the toner from the same series and a moisturizing cream immediately after use.

The gel has a very pleasant consistency, not too liquidy or thick, with a refreshing citrus scent. It cleanses the skin thoroughly, leaving it matte (perfect for my oily skin), refreshed, and giving a sense of absolute cleanliness. If you're unsure, go for it, it's simply a treasure for this price!)
