Apparently, this fragrance is a replica of Baccarat Rouge 540 by Francis Kurkdjian. The top notes consist of jasmine and saffron, while the heart notes include woody amber and gray amber. The base notes are white cedar and fir resin. The only difference is the absence of gray amber in the heart, but otherwise, the notes are exactly the same. This is why some people perceive BR 540 as having a medicinal smell, reminiscent of bandages and dressings.
