Jessner's Peel, pH 2 from the Cocos brand, is a multifunctional product capable of addressing several skin concerns simultaneously. The depth of the peel's action depends on the number of layers applied and the duration they are left on the skin. A light peel with a single layer penetrates the stratum corneum of the skin, enhances its hydration, smooths out wrinkles, and reduces acne effects. A medium-level peel using three layers at five-minute intervals works on the basal layer. After this treatment, the skin requires more time to rejuvenate, but it effectively smooths expression lines and reduces the visibility of pigmentation spots and scars.
Features of Jessner's Peel with pH 2 from the Cocos brand:

Before starting the peeling course, it is recommended to prepare your skin for 7-14 days using one of the following products: either apply a pre-peeling lotion to help your skin adapt to the acids, or use a Night Cream with AHA acids and Vitamin A.
Right before the procedure, for optimal results, cleanse and degrease your skin using the Cocos Pre-Peeling Preparation Lotion.
Next, apply a small amount of the Jessner's Peel solution in circular motions on your forehead, temples, chin, cheeks, and nose. A burning sensation might occur as the solution is applied. The appearance of white "frost" indicates the crystallization of salicylic acid, which is normal.
The peeling solution should remain on the skin for up to 20 minutes, depending on the number of procedures you've done and your skin type. After the exposure time, apply a neutralizer. After one minute, thoroughly rinse everything off with water.
If you feel discomfort, rinse off the peel earlier.
Post-peeling care involves moisturizing the skin and avoiding products with abrasive particles or harsh ingredients that could harm your skin. During the recovery period, do not pick at any forming scabs, expose your skin to ultraviolet light, or visit saunas, pools, and open water bodies. A comprehensive approach includes using an occlusive product to reduce transepidermal water loss, soothe irritation, and calm the skin, such as the Natural Lamellar Cream for post-peeling care. This cream should be applied immediately after the procedure and nightly during the recovery period.
