The lamellar emulsion is a new type of product for problematic skin, replacing the widely beloved traditional suspensions. The "Sulfur & Salicylic Acid & Zinc" emulsion is designed for the care of oily and problematic skin in such cases as: blackheads (open comedones) and closed comedones, papular acne, adolescent acne, seborrhea, combination skin.The emulsion has a lamellar structure — the best form for delivering beneficial actives. The oils included in its composition are rich in linoleic and γ-linolenic ω-6 fatty acids. These fatty acids are precisely what oily skin lacks, and they also reduce the activity of the sebaceous glands. Saw palmetto and zinc suppress the activity of 5α-reductase, which converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone — the main culprit behind increased sebocyte activity. A complex of moisturizers quickly saturates the skin with moisture, offering its owner pleasant comfort. Vitamin B6 and niacinamide soothe the skin and have a sebum-regulating effect.
