It tightens pores, lightens blackheads, dries out inflammations without drying the skin. It basically does everything it's supposed to. There is a noticeable tea tree oil smell, but it is cleverly masked by fragrances, so there's no need to worry about smelling bad for the next couple of hours after applying it. This toner is well-balanced, and I'm happy about that. Tea tree oil is truly effective in fighting skin problems, but it smells absolutely horrible, and almost all my attempts to make a toner with it ended in failure. There was only one somewhat successful experiment (tea tree oil goes well with very sweet aromas like jasmine, saffron, peach, sweet almond - something to note for those who still want to experiment on their own. Tea tree oil slightly reduces the sweetness of the scent but loses its unbearable sharpness in sweet fragrances). Finally, there is no longer a need to try to figure it out on my own.
