I don't know what magic they work, but this cream is simply a find. While on vacation, in the heat, fending off mosquitoes, sweating and washing my face in extreme conditions, my face never got burned if I applied this cream in the morning. It fantastically protects from the sun, doesn't wash off, and doesn't need to be reapplied multiple times a day like other sunscreens. I have combination skin and I use this cream just as a regular moisturizer from April to October. In two years of use, my face has never gotten burnt. And by the end of summer, my skin doesn't look tired or sun-damaged. There is minimal tan on my face, without the effect of a white mask.
