Beautiful teeth and a delightful smile are now accessible to everyone thanks to the latest discoveries and inventions in dentistry. However, installing pins, crowns, and bridges requires additional care with the use of special products that prevent the artificial material from darkening prematurely and undergoing other changes.
Use the Ortho Dental Floss from the Spanish brand G.U.M. to effectively remove plaque, food residues, and other deposits under and around dental constructions. It is divided into special sections, equipped with a plastic element that reduces its thickness closer to the centre. This allows it to penetrate narrow and wide interdental spaces without damaging the gums.
I have been using this product since I started wearing braces. I have tried other options, but have not found anything better. This one is waxed (which helps with cleaning) and has a firm, twisted end (which allows for quick cleaning). It also fits through my small gaps (but finding the right size is individual and requires some trial and error). The downside is that it sometimes gets caught on the braces and tears, and it is also expensive. However, I haven't found any alternative options that are easily available.
It is very thick, not suitable for closely spaced teeth. I almost pulled out my teeth along with the braces using it!!!... It's a shame for the money spent. I will look for a thinner orthodontic thread.
Another photo of the thread.
I didn't like the floss. But the idea is great. You don't need to fuss with the thread guides. Whoever wears braces will understand. It's almost like it's soldered along the entire length (you can see it in the spool photo). But there's one big "but" - I won't be able to use it, the thread is too thick. Unfortunately the money was wasted.
Just a treasure for people with braces. Like a treasure - not only because it is also expensive, but also because of the quality. I have tried regular floss and the Superfloss from Oral-B, but these are still the best. Despite the price, I buy them for the second time. It lasts for 50 uses, but you can save money by taking half of the regular length (it's enough for me) and using it up to 100 times. The plastic element for threading behind the braces is especially convenient because it is also twisted, as it was wound on a spool.
The packaging size is larger than regular floss, but it is still convenient to take with you.
This one is mandatory with orthodontic treatment. Even with regular use, I have more plaque buildup in the interdental spaces due to braces, not to mention how enamel deteriorates for those who don't use it.
By the way, the price in pharmacies is sometimes 30% higher than here.
