The smell lingers for more than 3 days, until I wash my hair. The packaging says it can be used as a heat protectant. I applied it to towel-dried hair before straightening. Two sprays for a bob haircut don't give any effect at all, and three sprays - and my hair looks like it hasn't been washed for a week. I thought I would experiment with this product and get used to it, but after 4 uses, I realized that I don't need to torture myself with the smell and my hair. I just wanted to give it to my acquaintances, maybe it will suit a different hair type, but the smell will scare everyone away.
The only plus is the large volume and sprayer.
