The product performs its functions well. It does not weigh down the hair and is suitable for curly hair, preventing the curls from unraveling. It does not dry out or make the hair sticky. The scent is sweet but dissipates quickly.
This is my first experience using a heat protectant, and I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like this. I sprayed it on my hand to test it out, then I held up the blow dryer. Where the spray didn't touch my hand, I could feel the temperature of the air, it was hot. Where the spray did touch my hand, at first I didn't feel anything at all, but after a few seconds of blowing warm air, I started to feel the same as if there was no heat protectant at all. Either I don't understand how it's supposed to work, or it's not working. As for hold, yes, my curls stay in place.
I don't know what others are struggling with or what they don't like about it.. It's a wonderful heat protectant. It doesn't dry out the hair, and there's no feeling of straw in the hair. I have curly, dry hair, and it works perfectly for helping the curls hold, just a couple of sprays to protect the hair from the sun. It's also convenient to use with a hairdryer after applying the heat protectant. The hair combs through easily and doesn't get tangled. The scent is neutral.
The spray excessively dries out the hair and has a terrible odor (like mothballs used for centuries). I do not recommend it.
I really liked this heat protectant. In addition to its main function, its plus is that it also provides hold, which is especially important when we are talking about curling hair. Now I only buy this one, even though there are other heat protectants available (more branded and popular ones), but I repeat, it is the best when it comes to curling.
I used a hair curling spray on slightly dried hair to create curls using papillotes. The curls turned out well, but my hair became stiff and dry, and the ends felt like straw, even though my hair is normally smooth and porous. It created a doll-like effect on my head rather than natural-looking curls. In comparison, without the spray, the curled hair looked much softer and more natural.
The curls indeed last much longer. However, there is a big downside - the smell is terrible :(
I didn't feel any effect, but at least it doesn't weigh down my hair.
The curls really last longer. As for the thermal protection, I can't say anything, I hope it protects.
