I can only hear sandalwood on me, with a light coffee note appearing in the end. It's a very beautiful and elegant fragrance, I want to constantly inhale it. I bought it without testing and I don't regret it, it's intimate, close, and doesn't seem to have a strong sillage.
This is my third fragrance from Serge Lutens. Previously, I had Louve and Five O'clock. I bought all three without testing them, and they have become my favorites. However, SANTAL MAJUSCULE is the most complex. Definitely, you need to be in the right mood for it. There are days when it irritates me, and there are days when I can't get enough of it. Just one spray on the body and you're enveloped in a mysterious sandalwood haze, and if sprayed on fur, it's even more luxurious. It loves fur. I love Lutens.
I bought it based on online reviews. They said that not everyone can smell the scent of sandalwood specifically. On me, it revealed itself on the "heart" and at the end.
