I bought the Hippo shampoo and gel for my child, and everything is great. It lathers well and doesn't sting the eyes. Additionally, it contains a series of ingredients that help with various skin irritations. I highly recommend it.
Moms, under no circumstances should you buy this shampoo for your children if you don't want them to start hating you. I tried it for myself and it was a shock. My hair felt like wood, impossible to comb. Even when I apply conditioner, the hair near the roots remains very stiff. This is the first time I've experienced this with my hair. I'm sure kids would not want to go through this torture. The reviews written in November-December 2020 are clearly not truthful and are most likely written by the manufacturer themselves. I've noticed that the praising reviews for this period are present on almost all products from this company.
This shampoo is the best out of all the ones I've tried, both expensive, cheap, and average. It's a real gem. It cleanses the scalp perfectly.
