Sane Sebum Control Primer Primer

I have discovered my new favorite recipe for matte skin: first, I apply the spot-matifying cream from Sane, which comes in a small tube, and then immediately cover my face with this primer. I haven't achieved greater matte finish with anything else so far. On top of that, my regular daytime makeup looks even better and lasts longer on my face.

The production date is 12.21, which means it has already been lying around for a year, leaving only six months for usage. I have cosmetics that last longer. The expiration dates are indeed sealed, but I already have a similar product and I know its expiration dates.

It fulfills only 30% of the promised claims: it mattifies the skin for only 1 hour and does not conceal enlarged pores. It does not hide any flaws. I have oily, problematic skin with large, enlarged pores.

Please note: the manufacturing date is 07.12.2021, which means the product is already 1 year old. The expiration date is 18 months. After opening, it should be used within 9 months. But these 9 months are not there because there are only 6 months left.

The expiration date is carefully sealed with a paper sticker on top. That's why there's a discount.

I do not recommend spending money on it.

I really like it! It doesn't matte perfectly, but it gives a great feeling of moisture (it feels comfortable and pleasant on the skin), especially for combination/problematic skin, after using all the specialized care products, you just need some hydration. It has a pleasant scent. It keeps makeup on well, BB cream or foundation applies nicely on it. The most important thing is that it doesn't cause breakouts. I am satisfied! I have already used half of the product, so this is not just a first impression.

Good, there are better ones, but this one is good.

I think that when oily skin starts producing sebum, nothing can stop it anymore, and even the best primer won't hide the unwanted shine. For me, it is much more important that the primer is not sticky, as I can feel it on my face and it immediately causes unpleasant sensations. Here, everything is clear with this, so I will continue to buy it, as it has lived up to expectations.

I really liked the primer, I bought it here twice. I applied it on top of both foundation and compact powder, and everything looks great even though my skin is not perfect. You just need to give it some time for the primer to absorb into the skin, a couple of minutes is enough. I apply it with a damp sponge in a droplet-like manner.

Overall, the effect is absolutely non-existent, and the reviews seem to be fabricated (with the same number of words even). The scent is very pleasant, but the actual effect is truly zero. I usually love this brand, but this time it's clearly a miss.

It prepares the skin for applying foundation (although I'm not really a fan of foundations, and the Mary Kay Ivory 2 powder suddenly became unreasonably expensive). I use Maybelline New York Affinitone foundation and without a primer, it tends to go on in streaks or settle into pores. With this primer, the coverage is perfect for me. I apply it with a damp sponge, both the primer and the foundation. In short, I highly recommend giving it a try, especially considering the affordable price.

Through my own experience and for my skin type, I have come to realize that primers are absolutely essential for achieving flawless coverage. I have been using two different products at the same time, both from the brand "Seyn," and they have become an integral part of my routine. This particular primer is the one I use more often because I prefer a matte finish on a regular basis. However, when I want to shine, I opt for the radiant version of this primer.

The primer truly controls the level of oiliness of the skin under foundation. I don't fully understand how it works, in terms of what prevents my skin from becoming oily. But it has a good composition, so I don't worry about its quality. It's convenient to be able to wear makeup on my face all day without needing to touch up with powder even once.

I enjoy creating different makeup looks and it's not always necessary to use matte products, even though my skin tends to be oily. I ordered both primers from Sein, this one and the second one for illuminating. I liked using both of them as they create different effects on my face, and most importantly, they didn't turn out to be the same!

Honestly, whether with this primer or without it, it doesn't make a difference. I have combination skin. After 4 hours, my makeup starts to melt in the T-zone, as if I didn't use a primer at all. I didn't notice any improvement in how my foundation went on either. I don't understand the claims of this primer if it didn't give me any effect. The texture is interesting and the scent is pleasant.

I'm not very knowledgeable about primers, as they all seem similar to me, so I don't see the point of buying very expensive ones from premium brands. I liked this one because it also controls the oiliness of my skin, and even if you look at my face after applying the primer and then the foundation, without powder, it doesn't shine as much as it did before I started using the primer. So, if I see the desired effect and I'm satisfied with it, it makes me even happier that I didn't overpay.

I haven't reached a level of consciousness where I use a primer every day, although everyone tells me it's even good for the skin. For now, I only use it for evening make-up. And it really helps me with that! The cosmetics don't start smudging in the middle of the evening, the eyeshadows stay in place, just like the foundation, even if I slightly touch my face somewhere. Overall, my face looks fresher for longer, and the makeup doesn't crease.

I really liked it. It evens out the complexion and is suitable for my combination skin, as it doesn't get oily as quickly. Another plus is that I need to use less foundation after using it, and overall, my makeup looks smoother and more natural.

I accidentally ordered two of these and only realized it when I had already unpacked the package without the courier. At first, I thought I had wasted my money because who needs so much primer, but now I'm not sad anymore because it turned out to be good. I don't know how long it will take me to use up two packs, as just a pea-sized amount is enough for my face, but at least I know for sure that I will use it and it won't go to waste!

This is my first ever primer, so it's difficult for me to assess whether it's good or bad. As far as I understand, a primer helps the foundation apply better and stay on the face longer. It has successfully fulfilled these functions! I can't say if it clogs pores because I haven't been using it for long, and I don't apply it every day - I forget. But when I do apply it, it's immediately noticeable how much better the makeup looks because the tone is even.

Overall, it's not bad at all, even very good. The new packaging design is nice! Choosing black color was definitely a good decision. The primer prepared the skin well for applying makeup. However, I can't say anything about its mattifying effect.
