Cold Base Coat - Siller Professional Base Cold
You know, I don't understand the appeal of layering one base coat on top of another and why people do it, when you can just use a normal base coat (for adhesion with nail polish, nothing more), apply a thin layer of primer, and then apply the strengthening gel. There's no need to make the base coats so complicated.
I absolutely did not like this base coat, even on strong nails it causes peeling, just like their red base coat. I have been working in this field for 2.5 years with many other brands, including 9-12 free, and I have never experienced this with any other brand. Materials should make the job easier for the nail technician, not harder...
The brush from the bottle is large, the base feels uncomfortable under the lamp, it is thick and does not self-level, it tends to pool even though it is thick.
Horrible. On the second day, it completely peels off like a sheet, without even chipping.
I have been using the My Nail base for over 3 years, but recently it has become somewhat different, with more chipping. I decided to switch to the Siller base. What a disappointment! After two weeks of use, I can confidently say that this base is amazing!
The base is excellent! It's perfect for those who have flakes. These cold gel-based bases are less flexible, so we apply a very thin, almost rubbing layer of rubber underneath. This is especially useful for thin or damaged natural nails.
I didn't like it! Some ovens were still okay, but that's not the problem. The peeling is present in all of them, and it starts happening after three to five days. I don't recommend it.
I have mixed feelings about this product.
1) It still burns, especially on thin nails, but it's understandable why.
2) It peels off on most nails, which is terrible. I don't understand why it doesn't happen with others.
3) However, it evens out perfectly. I can't argue with that.
The base is thick and good for leveling and even strengthening, which is perfect for beginners. However, it takes a very long time to dry under the lamp, unlike with Kodi. When it doesn't dry properly, it peels off in one solid layer. The delivery during quarantine took exactly a week, which is disappointing.
The application is easy and smooth, the consistency is thick, but after a week, it started to peel off in layers which didn't work for me.
