For the first few days, there was hardly any smell until you got close to the diffuser, even though I used ALL the sticks. This thing works effectively in more humid spaces than my living room. When I moved it to the bathroom, the smell became overwhelming, so I reduced the number of sticks in the bottle. As for the scent, it resembles more of a citrus glass cleaner. Not quite what I was expecting, unfortunately.
I bought it for my small bathroom. With 5 sticks, it gives off a pleasant, subtle, but well-defined scent.
I really like the smell. It is like a simple citrus scent, clearly not some super perfumery composition. But at the same time, this citrus scent is multifaceted: you can feel the orange, grapefruit, pomelo, and tangerine. The scent is simple, but not primitive.
So for me, it's really cool for the price!
