The first step is, of course, to shape your nails. There are various shapes to choose from: soft square, square, almond, and oval. They're all beautiful, so select the one that suits you best. Next, smooth the edges of the nails and carefully clean off any dust. A crucial point before applying gel polish is to remove the cuticle from the nail plate using an orange stick or remover. You should also remove the top keratin layer from the nail plate, which can be done with a coarse-grit buffer. After that, apply a primer to ensure strong adhesion between the base and the nail. Wait for the primer to dry, which takes about 1 minute. Then, apply the base coat. The base coat smooths the nail surface, conceals imperfections, and ensures even application of the gel polish. Apply a thin layer of the base gel across the entire width of the nail plate, then cure the nail under the lamp. The next step is to apply 2-3 layers of OXXI Cat Eye gel polish. Don't forget to seal the free edge. Before curing each layer in the UV lamp, hold a magnet close to the gel polish at a distance of 3 millimeters for 10-15 seconds. The curing time for each layer is 2 minutes in a UV lamp or 30 seconds in an LED lamp. Apply a thin layer of top coat for gel polish and cure it in the UV lamp. If there is a sticky layer, remember to remove it.
