Trim and shape the nails. Push back the cuticles and remove any remaining dead skin, then lightly buff the nail surface. Make sure to degrease the nail plate. Select tips for each nail (the correct fit is when the French tip completely covers the free edge and fits snugly against the sides of the nail). Apply glue to the corners of the free edge and the inner surface of the tip. Press the tip gently without applying much force, then secure the corners. Remove the tip holder to release the tip. Clean off excess glue before it dries. Shape the free edge and lightly buff the tip's surface. Remove any dust with a lint-free cloth and degrease the nail. Apply a base coat, such as gel polish, and cure according to the instructions. Then apply a top coat and cure as instructed. Remove the sticky layer.
