Demeter Fragrance Frankincense Eau de Cologne

The Library of Fragrance Frankincense is a full, rich, woody, spicy expression of a classic perfume note. It is so classic that the Bible mentions it as one of the three gifts that the wise men presented to the baby Jesus.

Frankincense is gathered from the skinny but resilient Boswellia sacra trees, by cutting the bark, in a process called striping, and allowing the released resin to flow out and harden. There are several types and varieties of frankincense, each of which produces a slightly different type of resin. Differences in soil and climate create an even greater variety of resin even within a single species.
