The gel is fantastic, with a very pleasant scent that smells somewhat like anise, overall giving off a luxurious perfume vibe. Although the scent is nice for a gel, it does dissipate quite quickly after showering. There are other gels that have a longer-lasting scent on the body, but this is not necessarily a negative aspect.
Additionally, my husband mentioned that it doesn't lather very well. I'm not sure why they claim it lathers nicely.
