This product is a great alternative to traditional women's hygiene products - tampons and pads! The cup works on the principle of a tampon, collecting all the discharge during menstruation. The advantages are that it's economically (and ecologically) beneficial to buy. There's no longer a need for constant purchasing, using, and disposing of a significant amount of various hygiene products (tampons and pads with different absorbent properties). Using a menstrual cup is your conscious decision, which will positively affect the reduction of cellulose waste and contribute to the preservation of nature. Also, using the cup does not cause: disturbances in the microflora, irritations, or chafing.
Model 1 is recommended for light to moderate bleeding, for young women without sexual experience.
All Lunette menstrual cups are made of soft medical silicone, but the silicone of Model 1 is softer than Model 2.

Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding techniques—try a few and choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup should open with a characteristic suction or "pop" sound, indicating it is properly positioned. If in doubt, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when correctly placed. If you notice any dents or indentations, it means the cup has not fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to ensure a secure seal. Once it’s in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, it means a suction seal has been created and the cup is correctly installed!
My favorite cup! (I have 2 fun cups of different sizes and stiffness)
It is easy to insert and unfold; in addition, the tail is long and can be trimmed to fit me. It doesn't stretch too much, making it easy to "catch" inside. It has never leaked and is very comfortable and convenient to remove (in the case of softer ones, it is harder to remove the vacuum, causing temporary discomfort on the cervix). It doesn't shift when worn.
The main downside for me is that due to its elasticity, the ring of the rim is a bit stiff when removing it, and personally, it's a bit uncomfortable because the entrance is sensitive.
