The Lunette Menstrual Cup, Model 1, from Lunette is a wonderful eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to tampons and sanitary pads. Its reusability is not the only advantage of this product. With the menstrual cup, there’s no need to put your life on pause, as it enables you to live life to the fullest. You can confidently go swimming, for a run, or to bed. The cup perfectly adapts to your body and moves with it, making it virtually imperceptible. Inside the vagina, it creates a vacuum and collects fluid without absorbing it, unlike tampons. This prevents the development of pathogenic bacteria or fungi. Model 1 cup is suitable for women with light to moderate flow. If you typically change a low or regular absorbency tampon or pad 2–3 times a day, this is your size.

Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. First, be sure to wash your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods—try a few and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or "pop" sound, indicating it is correctly positioned. If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly installed. If you feel dents or indentations on the cup, it means it hasn't fully expanded. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to ensure a suction seal has formed. Once in place, gently pull on the stem. If you feel resistance, a seal has been created and the cup is successfully installed!
