Start by doing a manicure. Be sure to degrease the nail plate. Select the appropriate tips for each nail (the correct size is when the French tip completely covers the free edge and fits snugly against the sides of the nail). Apply glue to the corners of the free edge and the inner surface of the tip. Press the tip gently without applying too much force, then press the corners. Remove the tip holder to release the tip. Wipe off any excess glue before it dries. Shape the free edge and lightly buff the surface of the tip. Remove any dust with a lint-free wipe and degrease the nail again. Apply a base layer, such as a gel polish, and cure it according to the instructions. Apply a top coat and cure it as instructed. Remove the sticky layer.
