It's essential to start caring for your skin from a young age. However, nothing can prevent you from restoring a healthy appearance to your facial skin even in mature years. By relying on the healing properties of Bioderma Sebium Global, a care product for oily and combination skin, you will significantly reduce the risk of inflammatory processes and acne, while also ensuring comprehensive care for troubled and inflamed skin.
The secret to Sebium Global's effectiveness lies in its unique formula. This healing agent contains active components of the Fluidactiv complex, developed by French cosmetologists in the Bioderma laboratory. An increased content of bakuchiol and AHA acid esters helps to normalize the secretion of sebaceous glands.
Timely and regular use of the product eliminates acne and blackheads, deeply cleanses pores, and restores a clear complexion to the skin. In turn, a combination of zinc gluconate and enoxolone provides a healing effect, reducing redness and treating inflammatory processes.

With the use of the cream, the result is visible immediately, the skin simply glows! Do not apply in large quantities - otherwise it will burn and peel off.
Very cool cream! Light, doesn't clump, tingles a bit on the face, but after a week of use, pimples are no longer a concern. I mainly use it at night!
The cream is not bad, it really mattifies the skin and makes it healthier. If you apply too much product, it rolls off and stings a little, but it does provide results, which is definitely pleasing.
I can't say that this cream is magical, but it did help me.
I initially used it twice a day - in the morning and evening. I have combination skin, prone to breakouts on my face and neck. The cream helped dry out the breakouts and redness.
But I also use other skincare products from Ordinary and La Roche, so I'm not sure if I can attribute the positive effect solely to this cream.
The only downside I can point out is the smell. It's very chemical-like to me. Other than that, 4/5.
Excellent cream that helps to fight inflammations.
I adore this cream. I've been using it for 2 years already. I don't plan on changing. The free delivery was very pleasing. Everything arrived quickly.
The cream is great, I apply it before bedtime, and in the morning the pimples are less noticeable and my skin feels velvety. The consumption is minimal, it is not necessary to apply too much, otherwise it will roll off, I also do not recommend applying it in the morning. It is exactly what is needed for oily and acne-prone skin.
I really liked the cream. I had hormonal acne, and in 1.5 weeks it got much better, my skin became smooth and not too dry. Yes, it stings and my skin itches. But if you have used acids before, everything will be fine. By the way, after a week, the skin doesn't react as strongly. The main thing is that there are no new breakouts. I highly recommend it to those who suffer from acne. I used to like Effaclar Duo+, but this one is even more effective.
I use it as prescribed by my dermatologist. In the morning - Sebium Hydra, at night - Sebium Global. Apply exclusively locally. I am satisfied with the results, it is now my regular product. But I am not completely satisfied with this series of creams because this tube has a much more liquid consistency. In previous times when I bought it, there was a feeling of cream density and convenient local application, it didn't spread out, it was thicker. I don't know what it is related to.
I've been using it not for the first time. Wonderful tool. I recommend it.
I think this is probably the most controversial cream in the entire makeup world. I also read reviews before purchasing it and had doubts, but it was recommended to me by my skincare specialist, so I decided to give it a try.
So, let's start with the backstory. I have oily dehydrated skin with large pores and acne scars (I currently don't have active acne). The main goal of this active acid cream was to lighten the acne scars and quickly treat any pimples that appear. I used it together with Noreva Laboratoires Exfoliac Gel Moussant (which contains acids), Bioderma Hydrabio Toning Lotion, Bioderma Hydrabio Serum Moisturizing Concentrate, and my daytime moisturizer was from Avene.
The first application of this cream was similar to what was described in all the comments - a burning sensation for about 15 minutes, redness, and the fear that my skin would peel off. But I decided to wait. IMPORTANT - I didn't apply a lot of this cream, even though I used to enjoy using a large amount of face cream before. My dose was just a pea-sized amount.
Another important point - I only applied this cream AT NIGHT. Creams with active acids are not recommended for morning use, as they can cause pigmentation. And if you still decide to apply this cream in the morning, make sure to use sunscreen afterwards.
After applying this cream, my whole face started to burn terribly, and then it covered with red patches. It's horrifying, I've never experienced anything like this before(( I used Bioderma Sebium sensitive and everything was great, but when I decided to try this one, it caused itching. I wasted my money.
It may be good for the skin but there is one downside which really annoys me - it slides off! At first I thought maybe I had applied makeup badly, but then I realized (I always remove makeup with micellar water, then wash my face well and use toner) then I thought maybe I was applying too much but no! I started applying a drop and still the same result, but I'm already quiet when I start applying the foundation.
From the beginning, I didn't understand this cream. I have combination skin with acne and post-acne. If I apply it all over my face, it really stings, rolls off my face, and dries it out. However, after a mid-level peeling, once the skin has peeled off, I tried applying it locally on new breakouts at night, and no new breakouts appeared.
Usually, I always have at least 2-3 large breakouts, even after cleansing and peeling. If it doesn't work for you, try using it only on breakouts.
The packaging is very small. Pleasant smell, light and liquid consistency, close to gel, quickly absorbs and without sticky or greasy residue. There was a strange tingling-pricking sensation in sensitive areas of skin. I did not notice any improvement from using this cream. I love Bioderma gel cleanser, but I will return to Uriage and La Roche Posay creams as they give a visible effect.
The cream is good, it does not leave a greasy film, moisturizes.
I have atopic and sensitive skin. The cream does not irritate the skin and mattifies well. For those who say it rolls off (apply a thin layer and everything will be fine).
The cream is not bad, it mattifies quite well, but I feel tightness which is not very pleasant for me. I probably won't buy it again.
Very satisfied with the cream. I have combination skin. It mattifies well, I notice fewer breakouts.
Super cream, I have combination skin, the cream effectively reduces redness, soothes the skin, tightens pores, after a month of use, acne practically disappeared, post-acne also fades much faster.
I will order more! It's a pity it's only 30 ml.
I ordered this cream on the advice of a cosmetologist. The cream incredibly dried out my skin, which is combination type. Yes, the acne disappeared, but incredibly dry skin appeared.
Excellent remedy, almost all pimples disappeared in 1 week, I have been using it for the second week, got rid of acne, although there are still pigmentation spots from the pimples, now I will look for a remedy to fight pigmentation. The cream does not dry out the skin, it stings a little during the first applications. But overall, it helped me a lot!
It didn't work. I have combination skin, and after applying the cream, my T-zone becomes shiny after 3 hours. Additionally, I still have breakouts when using this cream. I'm going back to the brand that works for me, LA ROCHE.
I have combination skin. The cream didn't work for me. It rolls off my face, dries out my skin, and burns when applied.
I love this skincare product very much, I have already purchased it 3 times. I have sensitive combination skin. It works great during the summer and helps with minor breakouts. Makeup goes on smoothly without any issues, the key is to wait 10-15 minutes before applying it.
His acne needs to be treated spot on.
Worst cream I've ever had. I have combination skin, mostly without breakouts, no problems with dryness, but after using this cream - dry skin everywhere (especially in the T-zone and around the lips), burning in certain areas, and it even caused terrible peeling (even when applied overnight). I bought it not from a makeup store (where everything is always great), but from a pharmacy, and it cost 430 UAH - ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THIS MONEY, there are much better products for this price. It's not like it does nothing, but in the end, it only harms the skin.
You shouldn't expect anything good from this cream. It dries out the skin a lot and doesn't have any effect on enlarged pores. The face looks horrible after using this cream. I do not recommend it.
This product did not suit my sensitive combination skin. It made the dry areas even drier and caused flakiness. After applying the product, it caused a burning sensation. The T-zone started to shine more than before using this cream. I regret spending money on it.
Excellent remedy. It helps well. I recommend.
Combination skin prone to breakouts, I used La Roche before, but this cream didn't work at all. After applying, my skin turns red in patches, itchy, and burns. After 7 days of use, I noticed even more breakouts and areas of peeling. I applied it at night, but the cream rolls off.
I have been using this cream for about a month. I bought it to replace the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo (acne treatment) that was no longer effective on my skin. I use it together with the Bioderma Sebium cleanser. It did not cause any allergic reactions, although it slightly tingles (due to the active formula with acids). It applies well and is very economical. It only rolls off if I apply it thicker in certain areas and then apply makeup after half an hour. I still need to let it absorb properly. And I also noticed that I need less foundation and powder now. What pleased me was that from the first days of use, it dried out my breakouts, calmed my skin, and lightened post-acne marks. I regret not buying it earlier!
Great cream! I have been using it for about a month. Despite its small volume, a small pea-sized amount is enough for the entire face. If you overapply, the cream rolls off. The skin feels smoother to the touch, and the breakouts on my forehead have disappeared. It effectively controls oiliness. I don't feel any discomfort throughout the day. If there are any wounds or microcracks on the face, the cream stings. But it quickly subsides. The cream has almost no scent. It doesn't dry out the skin. I use the cream in conjunction with the face wash gel and toner from the same line. I am satisfied with the results!
Periodically, I have breakouts on my skin that this cream eliminates almost overnight. It dries out well, and I use it every night for one week on the areas where breakouts can occur. During the second week, I let my skin rest and get used to not using it to avoid dependency. I really like it.
Good cream, I have been using it for a month and it does not clump. It evens out the skin tone and leaves my skin smooth. The scent is pleasant, not overpowering. I had some small breakouts on my forehead and cheek area, but this cream helped me. In the future, I will alternate it with a moisturizing cream. I also use the face wash gel from the same series. My skin is normal to combination.
The cream is good, I am buying it again) The main thing is consistency, apply it every day.
It stings a little. Unpleasant sensations after use.
Not impressed. Of course, everything is individual, but once again I am convinced - I will go back to the good old La Roche. I use this cream together with the Sebum Pore Refiner, as recommended by a dermatologist, but the effect is 0. And this cream also stings and flakes off within a minute! It dries quickly and even the slightest touch to the skin causes it to peel off. For such a price, the effect is 0. Although, it seems to slightly lighten the tone.
I have problematic oily skin, and I bought this cream along with the gel. As it turns out, this highly praised cream did not suit me at all. Although I applied it only on the inflamed areas, the result was that my skin became excessively dry and flaky. I didn't notice any improvements, and the inflammation didn't go away anywhere. It was a waste of money!
I thought I wouldn't write a review right away, but I couldn't resist) I've been using this cream for the first day, and what an effect! Knock on wood))) The bright red post-acne spots have noticeably started to lighten, but it's still too early to talk about the acne itself, of course. Yes, the cream really burns quite a bit, it's preferable (necessary) to apply it directly to problem areas, but this discomfort lasts for about 7-10 minutes, after which a pleasant cooling sensation is felt. I really hope for a speedy recovery of my problem T-zone, which has recently started to have such intense problems, probably due to mask-wearing((... I also use micellar water and a gel from the same brand as part of the complex. I'm waiting and hoping for healing, as they say!) I will write another review later, hopefully a positive one, about the treatment process. Special thanks to Makeup for the attention and fast delivery, I really like shopping with you!)
I bought the cream based on the reviews and I'm not disappointed. I have problematic combination skin with breakouts, and I really liked this cream. It's not greasy and absorbs quickly. I apply it in the morning after washing my face with a gel from the same brand, and sometimes in the evening if I don't forget. It's too early to talk about the results since I've only been using it recently, but it definitely suits my skin.
I have combination skin, prone to breakouts, with acne in the T-zone. This product effectively reduces redness and inflammation. It doesn't provide a perfect wow-effect because a complex skincare routine is necessary (I also have a cleanser from the same series), but without it, the condition of my facial skin is worse.
The cream is wonderful, it gives the face a healthy and well-groomed appearance, removes all signs of delivery, and tightens pores. The fact that it didn't help someone is very individual and depends on the face cleansing procedure. The cream is very good.
With it, breakouts have reduced and it gives a slightly matte effect on the skin. I didn't order it here.
I didn't like the cream. I have combination skin, with oiliness in the T-zone and small pimples. When I apply the cream on my entire face, many areas turn red, it burns a lot, and I have to wash it off.
I am buying this cream for the second time, on the advice of a cosmetologist. It doesn't roll off, as many people write, and it doesn't make my skin shiny. I wash my face with Bioderma gel, then use a toner, and apply this cream on top, followed by BB cream. My skin has become noticeably clearer, with almost no blackheads. Regarding the fact that this is a cheap alternative to Vichy, I wouldn't say so. I have used Vichy for quite a long time, and Bioderma is definitely better.
I have been using it for a year, it's just a salvation from acne, which I have been unsuccessfully fighting my whole life. It doesn't slide off at all, my skin feels amazing.
The entire line is mediocre, a budget version of Vichy. The cream rolls off after 5 minutes of application, it cannot be used under makeup at all. It cannot be touched on the skin, as it immediately rolls and crumbles. It has no effect on acne, pimples, or pore tightening whatsoever. It is completely prohibited to use for demodicosis.
Good cream, I use it as a daytime moisturizer. I use Hidra at night. It doesn't work well under makeup, it rolls off. Although the packaging says that the cream can be used as a makeup base.
The only product from this brand that I liked. My skin has become less oily. No more blackheads appear. I wake up in the morning and my face doesn't shine.
Money down the drain! Don't buy it!
The cream is awful! It flakes off! I apply it in a small amount after washing and cleansing with Bioderma products. My T-zone is shiny, and I have frequent flakes on my cheeks and chin. There are closed comedones and strange bumps on my face. After prolonged use in combination with Bioderma products, my skin condition has not improved at all.
The best remedy for fighting subcutaneous pimples, acne, etc. I have been using it for over 4 years at night (can be used on the entire face or as spot treatment) and I cannot imagine my life without it. Everything disappears overnight, subcutaneous pimples reduce by half. This product will not cure your acne. It is necessary to treat the skin with a dermatologist and treat your body. It will not permanently get rid of breakouts, but it will almost completely eliminate pimples overnight.
I have sensitive combination skin prone to breakouts. A cosmetologist recommended the Sebium line for daily care. I really like the cream - it noticeably mattifies the skin and dries it out. It doesn't fully absorb, but forms a soft layer on the skin that feels nice to touch. It can't be called a film, more like a silky mist, non-sticky and non-greasy. It's very convenient if you don't use any other products on top. However, this surface rubs off if you touch it, so it's not possible to apply foundation on top, but powder works fine. After 3 days, it's already noticeable that the skin looks better, as mentioned below - there is no greasy mask on the face in the morning, and inflammation has significantly reduced. I use it together with the cleansing gel and Sensitive cream from the same line. It would be great to have the option to order small trial sizes to make sure the cream suits the skin before buying it.
Great cream for oily, acne-prone skin. I only apply it at night every other day with Bioderma Sebium Serum. I don't understand who applies acid-based creams under makeup )) As a base (in winter), it's better to use Sebium Hydra and then Sebium Global Cover on top. The results are magical when used with the gel cleanser from the same line. But don't expect miracles. The first signs of improvement (reduced breakouts, more even skin tone, etc.) will appear no earlier than a month. By the way, during the first 7-10 days of using acid-based products, there is always a worsening, and only then does it get better. I've been using Bioderma for years and haven't found better skincare in this price range.
I have been using it for 2 months in combination with the cleansing gel from the same series. I don't notice any significant effect, pimples still appear just as before. I am disappointed, especially considering the price.
I didn't get the desired result even when using the cream with a gel. It's better to apply it in a targeted manner, as it can result in very dry skin. I do not recommend applying it under makeup as the cream tends to roll off. Another downside is the presence of acids in the composition, which causes strong discomfort and burning.
I have been using this product for two weeks now. It really does treat acne, and it has also reduced the size of my pores. However, it has made my skin dry, so I need to use a moisturizing cream in addition to it. It works well as a base for makeup, and my skin feels soft and smooth. Overall, I am satisfied!
In use for two days, but so far it's not bad, especially when used in combination with the face wash from the same series! The skin tone has indeed become slightly more even, and there is no horrible greasy layer on my skin after the night, as I usually experience.
I didn't like it at all, it doesn't absorb completely, even though I apply a little bit, but there is a film left on the face that rolls up(((
My face doesn't shine, but it feels waxy.
And the most unpleasant thing is that after two days of using it, my husband asked: "Did you change your cream? Your skin seems dry and wrinkles have become visible..."
I won't use it anymore.
