The Merchant Of Venice Blue Tea Eau de Parfum is a representative of modern niche perfumery that graced 2018 with its release. The developer of the fragrance was inspired by the aromas and jewels of Asia. The base of the composition is the famous 'butterfly flowers' blue tea, belonging to the varieties of Oolong tea. It grows in Southeast Asia and India and has an exquisite and delicate floral-spicy scent, reflecting all the delicacy and elegance of oriental charm. The perfume is enclosed in a special snow-white porcelain bottle decorated with a blue pattern in the style of ancient Chinese porcelain.
The olfactory pyramid of The Merchant Of Venice Blue Tea Eau de Parfum:
Top notes reveal the subtle sound of nutmeg, emphasizing the grace and lightness of the delightful silky-spicy aroma of blue tea.
Heart notes merge in a floral symphony of velvety honey rose, vanilla-lemon magnolia, and spicy neroli. In this sweet sound, the fragrance seems to bloom.
Base notes create the illusion of green petals touching the skin due to the spicy-woody nuances of vetiver and the warmth of golden musk.
In one of the stores, the entire range of fragrances was displayed. I decided to apply this one specifically on my wrist (I liked the bottle). From the first spritz, it had a light floral, green and very pleasant scent. But after 2 hours, it simply became overwhelming with musk. The scent stays on clothes for a very long time, until laundry. But be careful with it - it's not as delicate and fluffy as it seems at first glance. Out of the whole range, the one with the peacock feather, Imperial Emerald, really caught my attention.
