Active Anti-Acne Care Gel with Salicylic, Lactic & Glycolic Acids CeraVe

I have been using the gel since March 10th in the evening. Today is already June 5th, and it hasn't done anything at all, there has been no improvement or any results whatsoever.

I love all CeraVe cosmetics, and I am completely satisfied with this gel. I have been using it for over a month, and it has a non-sticky and non-greasy consistency. It absorbs into the skin without leaving any residue. I haven't had any breakouts or inflammation on my skin, despite having oily skin. This gel helps regulate sebum production. Throughout the day, my skin doesn't become oily quickly.

I have problematic oily skin prone to breakouts, and this product was recommended by a dermatologist, but it is the worst thing I have ever used. For the first time in 4 months of using it, my skin has only gotten worse compared to before I started using this series. Before using it, think carefully and analyze all the pros and cons.

The gel did not suit me, my skin turned red and it burned unpleasantly. I gave it to my friend, and it worked fine for her.

Some say it's sticky - I wouldn't say that, maybe you can feel it minimally during application, but it quickly absorbs and everything is great, no stickiness at all. My skin has definitely improved. I didn't like the gel because it's horribly sticky, it feels like having a greenhouse effect when applying it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? But I don't have such problems with Bioaqua.

From the first days, this gel has shown itself quite well, but it slightly dries out the skin, so I apply it after my regular cream. Then the skin adapted and now in the evening I apply it without cream and everything is great. It soothes irritation, the skin looks more even, and it slightly lightens post-acne. When I have significant breakouts and dry irritation (due to the cold), I apply it again separately to these areas - the skin becomes much better and everything normalizes much faster. I will definitely buy it again.

Very effective product. After the holidays, my skin broke out badly. I tried to solve this problem with La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ cream, but my skin condition only worsened. The inflammation became even redder and itching appeared. Since this gel from CeraVe has already been tested, I decided to try to get rid of my problem with it. The product is so-so. Pros: absorbs quickly, easy to apply, lightens acne scars. Cons: doesn't have any effect on new breakouts or reduce their size, doesn't work on keratosis and blackheads either.

This gel is wonderful. They write about stickiness - it does exist, but only until it absorbs. Afterwards, everything is okay, no stickiness on the skin. I don't apply anything else on top. The acids work great, there was a result after the first night. But, of course, there is a possibility of recurrence during acid treatments. That's normal.

Great cream, I use it at night. It eliminates redness and evens out the skin tone overnight. Very satisfied.

What causes breakouts is one thing, but this sticky film effect... Even if you cover it with cream, you can't escape it. Personally, I didn't like it, but I'll still finish the tube.

For combination skin in cold weather, it turned out to be a bit too aggressive and even after additional moisturizing with the evening cream from this brand, discomfort was felt. I bought it out of curiosity, but neither the toners nor the creams of this brand suited me. I have combination and sensitive skin. So far, I can say that it's not bad. I want to point out that it's sticky, so you need to apply it at least an hour before bedtime, otherwise it will be all over your cheeks.

I have sensitive and slightly dry skin, and these are my first acids. I introduced this gel according to the following routine: 1 day moisturizer, 2nd day Cerave gel with AHA&BHA, 3rd day moisturizer, 4th day retinol - and so on in a cycle. On the day of acid use, I apply toner, followed by a hydrating serum (with niacinamide or hyaluronic acid), and I finish with this Cerave gel. If you have very dry skin, you can also apply a moisturizing cream 15 minutes after using this gel. The next day, it is important to apply SPF! The gel is very comfortable and does not cause any irritation. It slightly cools the skin upon application. It can be used on problem areas as well as the entire face.
