Moisturizing Face and Body Cream - Revuele Ceramide Moisturizing Cream
The cream is very similar in its action principle to the lotion from CeraVe, but slightly thicker. It applies easily, absorbs quickly into the skin, and doesn't have a fragrance. It doesn't make my oily skin look greasy at all. Considering the price and volume, it's a must-have.
At the time of ordering, unfortunately, the equivalent CeraVe cream was only available in a large size of 340g, which is why I was attracted to this new series from the Bulgarian brand.
1 - There was no additional packaging (e.g., cardboard box or foil) and no protective layer.
2 - Despite the prominent "Ceramide" label, there are no ceramides as a separate component in the composition. Instead, there is the presence of rice bran extract (there is information on the internet that rice contains ceramides, but this is deceptive to the consumer).
3 - The consistency is completely different from CeraVe. It is a cream-gel that becomes more watery when applied to the skin. This texture provides a feeling of freshness and coolness.
4 - Unlike CeraVe, the cream leaves a slightly shiny layer on the skin. It absorbs almost completely within a few minutes, but it feels like you want to apply multiple layers. The tightening sensation appears quite quickly. It does not clump. There is a neutral feeling on the skin, no tingling or anything like that.
5 - There is no scent.
The Revuele cream reminds me more of a face and body lotion from CeraVe, which also lacks sufficient moisturization, especially in winter. It is more of a lightweight moisturizer, and it will be quite difficult to deal with dryness and dehydration with this cream.
