Loose Powder - L.A. Girl HD PRO Setting Powder
This is the coolest powder for smoothing pores and setting makeup! The formula is concise, the packaging is unpretentious, although the holes could have been smaller, but the price is budget-friendly. I am very satisfied! P.S. I didn't buy it here because it was not available in stock((((
The powder is excellent when applied with a brush, as it leaves no streaks or smudges on the face. (And it is intended to be applied with a brush.) It is colorless and slightly smooths the skin, without clogging the pores at all.
I have extremely oily skin, but this powder keeps it matte all day long!
The powder itself is decent - it mattifies and sets the makeup, it's invisible and lightweight on the face. However, I didn't expect it to be so small in size, and because of the large openings in the packaging, it's not very convenient to use.
The powder is excellent, just like any other with silica in its composition. It mattifies perfectly and sets the makeup excellently. It is suitable for baking. This can be considered a professional product and one must know how to use it and understand its functions. Those who claim that it causes bald spots, dries out, and doesn't mattify simply don't understand the purpose of the product and don't know how to use it. Of course, it dries out, come on, like any powder of this kind. You can use this powder in numerous ways: apply it with a fluffy fan brush for a light and weightless veil to set cream textures; apply it with a brush to specific areas for medium mattification; apply it with a damp sponge for a solid mattifying effect; mix it with cream textures for greater density and longevity; create a matte finish from a wet lipstick; set an unstable pencil, and so on. Come on, people, educate yourselves on the matter before criticizing.
The powder is very unpleasant on the skin, it dries and tightens, and does not mattify. The particles are too large, making it difficult to apply evenly. It has huge gaps, and a lot of it falls out. It doesn't pick up well on a brush and runs out very quickly. I ordered it when Maybelline powder was out of stock - a waste of money.
I ordered the white powder, hoping to use it to set my makeup. I was really afraid that I would waste my money because I wanted to order a different powder from Maybelline. But!!! The powder is wonderful. I use Maybelline's BB cream. After applying it, my whole face would get shiny after an hour. But thanks to this powder, I completely stopped worrying about having a shiny face. Even after 5 hours of wearing makeup, only a tiny bit of shine is visible on my chin and forehead. I am more than satisfied with this powder.
I purchased the "transparent" one to set my under-eye concealer. However, it leaves a white patch. I used it twice and then discarded it.
I didn't like it. When I apply it on my face, it starts stinging my skin, and when I screw the lid on, I can hear the powder squeaking. It feels like crushed plastic.
I bought a banana one. It's an excellent powder.
Good composition without talc, fine grinding, doesn't excessively whiten the face, doesn't clog my pores and actually mattifies, but after a couple of hours, a little shine appears in the T-zone. Still, this is progress for my skin!
Not a bad powder. It does a great job at mattifying, although I'm not a fan of its scent.
